Growing up between Ann Arbor and Detroit, Lance Jackson trained as a painter/designer at Washington University in St. Louis and Rhode School of Design. After over fifteen years in print journalism illustration and design at the San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner he has broken out as as a freelance illustrator.
