About the Author
For 20 years Vickie Jenkins was an award-winning morning news anchor at highly successful radio stations in San Francisco, including NBC-owned KYUU-FM and KOIT Radio. She now resides in Southern California where she runs her company, Performance Power Media Coaching, training corporate executives for speeches, presentations, and national media interviews on outlets such as CNN and CNBC, and preparing authors for their national book tours. Over the years she has covered presidents, popes and queens as a news anchor/reporter; recorded commercials and narrations as a voiceover artist; headed up internal communications at a division of a Fortune 100 company; performed improv comedy on stage in Los Angeles; written, directed, and acted in a one-woman performance art piece at SUSHI Theater in San Diego, and appeared on national networks such as NBC and Fox Network discussing powerful media performances. She writes screenplays, novels, songs, poetry, essays, plays, and short stories.
