Glimpse the glorious gardens and intriguing historical places only found deep in the English countryside. We will explore 2000 years of gardens and history: From the archaeological remains of a Roman palace and garden, through the Medieval and Tudor eras to Edwardian and Contemporary.

Join Gillian Gray of Rose & Heather Tours and Susan Leech of Orinda Village Antiques for a Talk and Afternoon Tea with scones lathered with cream and jam, fresh strawberries, exceptional English tea and a glass of prosecco.

Gillian Gray is a native Brit who grew up in Sussex. After careers in recreation management and business consulting, she has returned to her roots by starting Rose & Heather Tours in 2017.  She specializes in taking small groups off the beaten path to private gardens and local treasures, as well as world-famous gardens and historic places. She has lived in Moraga for over 20 years and is a member of the Moraga Garden Club, the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, and is a proud Rotarian.

Susan Leech immigrated to America as a child. Originally an interior designer, for the past 30 years Susan has owned a treasure in our local community: Orinda Village Antiques. This darling little store occupies part of the historic firehouse and is crammed with all sorts of small delights. Susan loves to provide private tea parties to groups of all sizes, focusing on ‘Taking Tea in the English Manner’.
